Delete your Hivio account

Fastest: from the app. Open Hivio, go to Settings → Delete account, and enter your password to confirm. Everything is deleted straight away.

Can't use the app?

Email thehivioapp@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Hivio account". We'll confirm it's you, delete the account within 30 days, and email you when it's done.

What gets deleted

Your login (email address and password).
Your household and everything in it: family members, to-dos and chores, calendar events, grocery lists, meal plans, expenses, rewards and points.
Every kid's device and shared tablet linked to your household stops working and its link is removed.

We don't keep a copy. Crash reports, which never contain your household's content, are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or in the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions.
